City Space by Clarissa Bonet

Post-186-10.09Clarissa Bonet in her series City Space tries through her photographs to speak about the urban experience, both its physical space and its emotional and psychological impact on the body. Tall buildings, massive amounts of concrete, mysterious unknown strangers, stark light, deep shadow and muted color are the visual strategies that she explores to describe the city. Photographs about the anxiety of being looked at and watched and the unease and embarrassment felt by their struggle in public.
