L’iPhone e la guerra

Le parole iPhone e guerra nella stessa frase hanno un che di anacronistico. Il fotoreporter Ben Lowy è stato in Libia per un incarico di 3 settimane, viaggiando tra la roccaforte ribelle di Bengasi per varie città in prima linea come Ajdabiya, Brega, Ras Lanuf e Bin Jawad. Oltre che fotografare con la sua reflex ha scattato delle immagini sul suo iPhone inviandole direttamente al suo blog. Abituati come siamo, a vedere le foto fatte con gli iPhone, super effettate, di fiori e bambini che giocano, quelle di Lowy ci raccontano invece un mondo dove la realtà sembra uscita dalla sceneggiatura di un film.

E’ difficile credere che le foto di Greg Schmigel siano state realizzate con un iPhone. Schmigel riesce a vedere cose che per la maggior parte di noi passerebbero inosservate, non è per niente facile leggere la storia di una persona incisa sul suo volto e cogliere quel momento prima che sia troppo tardi. Una delle sue citazioni più interessanti dice: “E tutto vero, sono fette di vita reale così come la vediamo, e molto spesso sono fette della vita che manca a noi.».
